After waiting and longing for many months on Wednesday the moment is finally there.
I spend the day thinking what else I should do in my suitcase .. but nothing comes to mind anymore (though I still have 4 kilograms to fill ).
BTW this is very first time I have a surplus in luggage weight. Normally I have a few kilo's to many on silly things like candy of coffee or so :)
I am ready, double ready, checked and rechecked.
Said goodbye to everyone twice (and joked once to many about my plane crashing... can you imaging how creepy it would be if my bird actually would make a nosedive on Wednesday?!!).
I said it before I don't really mind if my plane crashes but please let happen AFTER my holiday, so I still have a few weeks to misbehave :) .
Tomorrow I will go and check once more on my brother (he lives halve way to the German airport Dusseldorf, so it is actually self-interest this good Samaritan gesture :), have a few lazy days and then start my 24 hour journey to Bangkok in the most relaxed why possible.
Don't worry I will keep everyone updated, the downside is, it will be done in Dutch. The story will be told mostly with pictures, or so I hope, making it cross the language barrier with easy.
For now: one more time in my own bed smelling my own freshly washed sheets, touching the "blanked of love"* while floating away to dreamland...
LOL sounds so beautiful and tranquil but in reality: I will drop in a sort of comma instantly when my head touches the pillow, snoring louder then a roaring grizzly bear.

The "blanked of love" is a handmade blanket from my mom she made just before last winter. She called it "blanked of love" and made it even though her sight was going and her body was aching immensely. She worked on it for months. She was so proud she was able to finish it for me....
